Florida Seawall GuideDescribe My Seawall Problem

Privacy policy

What this site collects, what it does not, and what happens to anything you send.

What you can read without giving us anything

Every page of content on this site is readable without submitting anything. There is no gate, no email wall and no registration.

What the form collects

If you complete the seawall project review form, you provide:

  • Property information: ZIP code, city, whether the property is on water, and whether you are the owner or an authorised decision-maker.
  • Seawall information: whether one exists, material if you know it, and approximate length if you know it.
  • The problems you selected, your intent, and your timing.
  • Contact details: name, phone and email.
  • Anything you choose to write in the free-text notes field.

There is no photo or file upload on this site, so no images are collected.

What is recorded alongside your submission

The following technical fields are attached automatically so we can tell where a submission came from:

  • lead_state
  • landing_page
  • metro
  • city
  • intent_cluster
  • utm_source
  • utm_medium
  • utm_campaign
  • referrer

These record the page you were on, the area context, campaign parameters present in the URL, the referring site if your browser sent one, and the lifecycle state of the submission. They do not identify you beyond what you typed into the form yourself.

Where submissions go

Submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, the form service provided by our hosting platform, and are read by a person. There is no customer database and no automated processing of what you write.

Analytics

If a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, this site records page views and four interaction events: page view, that the form was started, that it was completed, and that a submission was sent. No field values and no contact details are ever passed to analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled. If no measurement ID is configured, no analytics script loads at all.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your information as a standalone data product.
  • We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing sequence you did not ask for.
  • We do not run advertising on this site.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels.

If your submission is passed to a third party who may be able to help with the work you described, that is done by a person, and only where what you described falls within what we cover. If it does not, we say so instead.

Retention and removal

Submissions are retained while they are being reviewed and acted on. If you want your submission deleted, reply to any correspondence you receive from us and say so, and it will be removed.
